(1) Before the commencement of the Act, the persons who have received the following honours, decorations and medals may wear such honours, decorations and medals:- A0 Honors: Nepal Pratapbhaskar, Ojasweerajanya, Nepaltara, Omrampatt, Trishaktipatt, Gorkhadakshinbahu. B0 Ornaments: Sena Saubhagyabhaskar, Nepal Mahapratapvardhak, Nepal Pratapvardhak, Subir Patt, Nepal Yashavvardhak, Veer Patt. C0 Medals: Commendation Medal, Commendation Medal, Police Ratna, Gajendramoksha, National Service Medal, Remote Service Medal, Foreign Service Medal, Sky Service Medal, Varuna Medal, Social Service Medal, Military Service Medal, Police Valor Medal, Nepal Bhushan, Military Long Service Medal Medal, Long Service Medal, Police Long Service Medal, Distinguished Service Medal, Military Service Medal, Janapada Service Medal, Police Service Medal, Service Medal, Targeting Medal, Disaster Relief Medal, 3rd SAARC Summit Medal. 20 Apart from the honors, decorations and medals mentioned in sub-rule (1), such honors, decorations and medals obtained before the commencement of the Act cannot be worn. 30 Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rule (2), soldiers and officers of the Nepalese Army, Nepal Police or Armed Police may wear ribbons of any other honours, decorations and medals received before the commencement of the Act, or officers or citizens of foreign countries may wear such honours, decorations or titles on their uniforms. Nothing contained in this rule shall be deemed to interfere with holding.
